Size is approximately 1.25″ to 1.5″ on average. Clam may be slightly smaller or larger. Clams are photosynthetic and will filter feed as well. They need moderate flow and moderate lighting. We suggest floating them to your tank temperature, acclimating to your salinity, and then putting them into your tank. DO NOT dip the clam. Coloration varies by viewing angle and lighting. Colors are true to our lighting setup, may look different under your lighting. No credits given if coloration looks different under your lighting. Pictures are taken top down, but the colors may look different if viewing through a display tank. They are new to aquarium life, therefore, could change color over time while in our care and in your aquarium. The colors are best seen under whiter lighting and colors can be washed out looking the bluer the lighting. We would expect the clams to look similar as photoed in your tank, but they will not look 100% like our photos. We are extremely careful and professional with our pictures, but they are very challenging to photo even having photoed thousands of corals over the past 5 years at Corals.com. Blue can look green, green can look blue, orange can look brown, etc. from our tank to yours in viewing their colors. If you would not be happy with the clam looking similar and not 100% like the picture, then we don’t recommend that you buy them. No credits given for the clam looking different at all. We just want to be upfront and honest with our customers. Rest assured, the clam you will receive will be very healthy!
